Team tournament and no tolerance

Hi guys,

I have heard from a few places that there is some concern in the local "meta" (that was for you Dickie) about everyone "playing nice" so to speak at this team tournament.

I want to let everyone, including anyone that I have never met that may be coming, know now that I have spoken to regulars about past incidents, and to Matt at PBKW about this, and the solution is very simple.

I'm saying it here, and it will be said again the morning of, that issues with excessive arguing to the point of disrespecting your opponent, cheating, obnoxious loudness, fighting, excessive cursing and just general douche-baggery is not going to be tolerated. This is at the discretion of the TOs, and I can tell you now that tolerance will be very low. We already don't get to play, so the only real fun we have all day might be enforcing the no tolerance policy!

I have told Matt that we will disqualify people that fall into this category, and their opponent(s) will be granted max wins. Matt is fine with this, probably because he wants people to be able to have a good time in his store.

Jon Kirby and I are generally nice guys, and we love everyone, but I promise you that we are more than capable of enforcing this, up to and including physically removing someone that is unhappy with the decision.

If anyone reading this is not cool with the stance we are taking here, then we invite them to just not show up.

Anyways, I really didn't plan on playing in this tournament, and was wondering if I could either be a judge or just a go-to guy for questions or something.

I don't think we will actually need the help with two of us already, but it would be nice to have a tie-breaker if we both disagree on something.

On the other hand, I know there are people looking for a team-mate, and you are a solid player. It seems a shame to give up a good chance at a win to me.
